The Story Behind the Fragrance-
Some Fragrances have a way of bringing the people we love back into the room.
For me, Tobacco Vanilla begins with my dad. Whether he was relaxing in his recliner after a long day, or driving us down the road, there was often a Swisher Sweets cigar--or sometimes his favorite cherry vanilla pipe tobacco--nearby. The warm, sweet aroma became part of my childhood, and even today, that familiar scent instantly reminds me of his quiet presence.
It also carries me back to my great-grandfather Luddy's tobacco farm in Buffalo Junction, Virginia, where our family gathered every Father's Day until he passed at the age of 95, in 1989. I'd spend hours beneath the big shade tree in front of his farmhouse with a good book, looking across the road at the old tobacco barn where the harvest was stored. The barn is gone now, and the farmhouse has changed hands, but in my mind, they're exactly as I remember them-surrounded by tobacco fields, laughter, and the people who made that place feel like home.
Tobacco Vanilla is my tribute to two remarkable men who shaped my childhood in different ways. Its fragrance filled warmth, heritage, and gratitude for the memories that time can never take away.
