Rooted in Local Tradition

Hive No. 9 is more than a fragrance— it’s a tribute to the people who have dedicated themselves to the art of beekeeping and the preservation of local hives. This collection was inspired by local beekeeper Howie Huneycutt, whose passion for beekeeping began under the guidance of Father Bill, a Cornell University certified Master Beekeeper and longtime mentor to local beekeepers throughout Eastern North Carolina. Through the years of education, stewardship, and mentorship, Father Bill has helped establish and support countless hives across our community— including Hive No. 9, that inspired this fragrance. The locally sourced beeswax used alongside our parasoy blend in these melts was generously provided by Father Bill, making this collaboration especially meaningful. By incorporating the beeswax into every batch, we’re honored to celebrate the relationship between mentor and student, and the importance of local beekeeping, and the hardworking honeybees that make it possible. From the hive to your home, Hive No. 9 is a fragrance rooted in community, craftsmanship, and tradition.
